We want YOU to design the next best award to recognize great work.
Design your ideal award and submit your design to the competition. Other visitors to the site will vote on the submitted designs, and the highest average score among eligible designs wins.
The competition is to design a trophy-like award or memento that can be used to acknowledge and honor great work. These items would be given by companies and organizations to high performing employees, to acknowledge anniversaries and other milestones, and to otherwise recognize outstanding work.
We want you to think of ideas beyond the typical brass and walnut plaque, the glass paperweight, or the lapel pin. Think of something you would really want or would really use, something you would be proud to receive in recognition of your own great work.
Items may be for display purposes only or may be multi-use and functional. Items that are to be displayed in some way should be able to be hung on a wall or displayed on a desk or mantel.
Designs may be a literal representation of the accomplishment or may be abstract representations of achievement (e.g., smart idea, team success, extra effort, great service, job well done).
Items should allow an area for personalization, such as the recipient’s name, date, accomplishment or the actual name of the award.
Items should be able to be reasonably produced within a few key price points, costing $10, $25, or $50 each.
O.C. Tanner has some manufacturing capabilities in-house. Designs are encouraged to meet these parameters, though designs do not necessarily need to conform to these standards to be eligible to win. These in-house manufacturing capabilities are:
